We are honored to welcome Dennis Worsham\, Washington State Secretary of Health\, as our Keynote Speaker.\n\nWho should attend?\n\nThis workshop is designed for partners across sectors whose work influences community health\, safety\, and well being\, including:\n\n Community Organizations\n\n Education\n\n Elected Officials\n\n Healthcare\n\n Housing Services\n\n Law Enforcement/Emergency Response\n\n Local Government\n\n Medical Providers and Health Systems\n\n Nonprofits\n\n Parks and Recreation\n\n Private Organizations\n\n Religious and Fraternal Organizations\n\n Substance Use Treatment and Prevention\n\n Transportation\n\n Tribal Governments and Tribal Organizations\n\n Youth Programs\n\n \n\nThis year's symposium will feature a Rural Community Dialogue Workshop\, an interactive session focused on rural traffic safety\, safer speed management\, and the unique roadway challenges across our region. Participants will hear diverse perspectives that are not always included in traffic safety conversations. Together\, we will explore how speeding\, impairment\, and rural road conditions affect daily life and identify practical\, locally relevant opportunities to improve safety.\n\nIn addition to the workshop\, the event will include panel discussions and guest speakers covering:\n\n\n Youth Health\, including behavioral health supports\, mentorship pathways\, and substance use prevention\n The Recompete Grant Project and its role in strengthening community health outcomes\n\n\nWe will also provide brief updates on key initiatives shaping future planning in Grays Harbor County\, including the Housing Needs Assessment\, Affordable Housing Site Feasibility Study\, Opioid Gaps Analysis\, Developmental Disability programs\, and Food Security Assessment.\n\nSpecial thanks to Grays Harbor College for their continued support of this event.
