DESCRIPTION:Is your band ready for the big time? Find out in the Satsop River Rock Festival Battle of the Bands!\n\n\n\nOn May 28th\, 2010 the preliminary round will take place at Hoquiam's historic 7th Street Theatre in front of a live audience. Each band that is selected and plays in the preliminary round will receive $100. The top four bands from the preliminary round will be selected by a panel of three judges and audience response.\n\n\n\nThese bands will then go on to the final round\, which will take place on July 31\, 2010 at the Satsop River Rock Festival. All four bands will play on the Olympic Stadium Main Stage as part of the festival\, and the winner of the Battle of the Bands competition will be selected at that time.\n\n\n\nPRIZES: 1st place $1000 / 2nd place $500 / 3rd place $200 (additional prizes yet to be determined will also be awarded on the day of the festival).\n\n\n\nTo enter the Battle of the Bands contest\, submit an application along with a music CD (required) and a video (optional). Applications must be submitted by April 30\, 2010.
