DESCRIPTION:"Reach the Beach - Oregon" is an iconic charity bicycle ride that takes place in Oregon every year and serves as a significant fundraiser for the American Lung Association. This event attracts approx. 3\,000 bicyclists and up to 5\,000 people at the finish line as they complete a scenic 100 mile ride through forests\, and small towns on mostly quiet back roads to their ultimate destination  the Oregon Coast.\n\n \n\nNext year\, in mid- September 2017\, our county will play host to a new and exciting event\, "Reach the Beach   Washington"\, right here in Grays Harbor. Join us as we hear from Dan Floyd\, Chief Operating Officer\, Hood to Coast Relay Race Series\, as he discusses next year's route and what it takes to launch this successful event on an annual basis. Learn about the economic impact of recreational riding events in coastal communities and how they can help successfully generate publicity\, interest and enthusiasm among recreational bicyclists and the many communities they visit.
