DESCRIPTION:Help us celebrate February's Business of the Month\, Vertellus Performance Chemicals LLC !\n\n\n\nThe Elma facility produces liquid sodium borohydride\, trimethyl boroate\, and caustic in a continuous process and dry sodium borohydride in a batch process. The plant has been dedicated to the production of these chemicals since startup in 1976. The plant utilizes statistical process control\, DCS automation\, SAP predictive/preventive maintenance program\, on site analytical laboratory\, highly trained non-union staff\, and a strong procedure use culture to enhance operations. The facility is ISO 9001 certified and is the longest standing VPP Star site in Washington State.
