The Chehalis Watershed Festival is scheduled for Saturday\, September 15th from 10:00 am-4:00 pm at Morrison Riverfront Park and Rotary Log Pavilion in Aberdeen. There will be a trout fishing pond\, a salmon bake by the Chehalis Tribe\, the 5th annual drinking water taste test\, arts and crafts\, tours on the Tall Ships and free long boat sailings\, and many other hands-on activities for kids. One of the highlights this year is Fin\, the 28 ft long fiberglass salmon that kids (and adults) can crawl around inside and see hand-painted murals of the watershed. We will also have a prize raffle drawing for kids\, featuring a grand prize of a 1-night stay at the Great Wolf Lodge plus 6 waterpark passes at Grand Mound.
