DESCRIPTION:Business Forum Lunch: Improving the Health & Well-Being of Grays Harbor\n\nJoin Greater Grays Harbor\, Inc. for our September Business Forum Lunch on Tuesday\, September 23rd\, from 11:30 AM   1:00 PM at the Rotary Log Pavilion in Aberdeen.\n\nThis month's forum features three dynamic speakers:\n\n\n	Mike McNickle\, Director of Grays Harbor County Public Health and Social Services Department \n\n	\n		McNickle will share updates on the department's work to strengthen the health and well-being of our community. From addressing critical health challenges to advancing long-term wellness initiatives\, Mike will provide insight into the efforts shaping a healthier future for Grays Harbor. \n\n		\n			 Additionally\, McNickle will also discuss the latest updates on the Recompete Program that works to development a region-wide strategic plan that will identify and address a wide-array of reasons why people in their prime age are not working or have given up looking for work in our community.\n		\n		\n	\n	\n	Sam Kim\, County Administrator for Grays Harbor County & District 1 County Commissioner Georgia Miller \n	\n		 Kim and Miller will provide valuable updates on what's happening at the county government level. From current initiatives to upcoming priorities\, they will offer a look into how local government is working to support community growth\, resilience\, and quality of life.\n		Kim will also take this opportunity to officially welcome the County's new Chief Operating Officer\, and Miller will give important updates on their recent Inaugural Grays Harbor County Housing Summit that took place in late August. \n	\n	\n\n\nDon't miss this opportunity to connect with fellow business and community leaders\, gain valuable knowledge\, and be part of the conversation on how public health and local government initiatives impact Grays Harbor's future.\n\nA catered lunch by Kit's Catering Kitchen is included in the cost of the event.
