DESCRIPTION:The second annual Grays Harbor Art Drives is a self guided tour of artists' studios Oct. 5\, 6\, and 12\, 13\, 14 from 10am - 5pm in Grays Harbor to acquaint people with local artists. Artists open their studios to discuss their work and their creative process. Some may demonstrate how they create.\n\n \n\nArt Drives seeks to introduce local art and artists to people from this area\, from up and down the coast and beyond. Grays Harbor is a wonderful place for artists to live and create.\n\n \n\nHoquiam artist Rick Woods said\, "A studio tour is a a great way to meet artists\, see what works for them\, ask how they do what they do. If you collect\, an artist's studio is a great place to see their work over a span of years\, and get the back stories of how they create."\n\n \n\nLocal galleries\, some owned and operated by local artists\, are participating as well. \n\n\n\nA Pop-Up gallery will be set up in south Aberdeen to display an art piece from each artist. Brochures will be available with maps and information on each artist. Visit the south Aberdeen Pop Up Gallery\, open daily\, Oct 5\, 6 and Oct 12\, 13\, 14\, from10am to 5pm\, at the Shoppes at Riverside 1017 S. Boone\, Suite 050 at the west mall entrance\, south Aberdeen.
