DESCRIPTION:SUMMER PROGRAM\n\nThe City of Hoquiam\, Community Services Department works to provide a safe place for your children during the summer where they can participate in supervised activities\, play in the wading pool and receive a free healthy lunch through the summer lunch program though a partnership with the Hoquiam School District. Daily activities are listed in our summer parks program which will be available by first week of June...\n\n\n\nWHERE:\n\n*Art Pocklington Central Play Field\, Corner of Lincoln and Emerson.\n\n\n\nWHEN:\n\n*Monday through Friday\, July 5th through August 19th\n\n*11:00 to 2:30 Daily.\n\n*Lunch provider daily for children.\n\n\n\nEVENTS HIGHLIGHTS:\n\n*Supervised activities from 11:00 until 2:30 each day with the wading pool open at 12:00 on WARM days. A lifeguard will be on duty during pool openings.\n\n*Special reading programs and activities sponsored by Hoquiam Timberland Library throughout the summer.\n\n*The Annual PET show at Olympic Stadium\, co-sponsored by the Hoquiam Timberland Library.\n\n*Visits from the Police Department and the Fire Department personnel\, teaching the children basic safety rules.\n\n\n\n\n\n**Sign-up for summer parks begins June 11th at Hoquiam City Hall. Children must be enrolled in the summer parks program by a Parent of Guardian. Please contact the Community Services Department at 360-532-5700\, ext. 240 or the AmeriCorps team at extension 224.
