Not only will the Freeride competition continue again this year\, we are also happy to announce we will be holding a big air competition\, as well as motosurf racing.\n\n------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------\n\n***Freeride Competition Rules***\n\n\n\n\n\nSafety Equipment\n\n\n\n-Mandatory equipment for this event include Bow Loop\, Helmet\, and a Life Jacket.\n\n-There will be a mandatory rider's meeting at 8:30am August 6th.\n\n-Please fuel your ski up before you get to the beach. This will make it easier on you. \n\n(A fueling basin must be used when fueling on the beach.)\n\n\n\nFlags:\n\n-There will be three flags in this competition.\n\n*Green = Begin\n\n*Yellow = 1 minutes remaining\n\n*Red = Return to shore immediately\n\n\n\nCompetition Area:\n\n-The competition area will be buoyed North and South with no outer limit.\n\n\n\nJudging:\n\n-Judging will be comprised of 3-5 people. Any scoring disputes will need to be discussed with the Head Judge immediately following you performance.\n\n\n\nScoring:\n\n 45% Aerial\n\n 45% Wave\n\n 10% Overall\n\n*Your score will be based on the top 4 performed tricks in each category. Bigger = Better.\n\n\n\nRounds:\n\n-Pre-Qualification Round\n\n*There will be a single pre-qualification round. It will be judged based on your overall performance. The round will last 6 minutes. You will not be judged head-to-head in this round\, rather it will be against everyone.
