DESCRIPTION:Join us for our Cold Weather Shelter Volunteer Training Event! \n\nCost is $12.00 per person\, or $20 per pair. Lunch will be provided and sponsorships are available! \n\n\n\n*In order to volunteer at our cold weather shelter this year (November-March) you will need to complete this training to become a certified volunteer.\n\n\n\nHave you been wanting to volunteer in our cold weather shelter? Are you interested in learning more about how you can get involved? Do you have a passion for helping others but don't know where to start?\n\n\n\nTopics of the event with include an overview of Revival of Grays Harbor and our involvement with the community\, a behind the scenes tour of our emergency shelter\, training on how to respond to crisis and trauma\, information on local mental health resources\, procedures and guidelines of our emergency shelter\, and basic first-aid knowledge.\n\n\n\nWe will offer a variety of small breaks\, an open coffee bar\, as well as lunch.\n\n\n\nRegistration is required for this event. Registration will be open to the public by September 17th. Please register online prior to the event or at the door.
