SUMMARY:State of Washington Tourism Grant Webinar
DESCRIPTION:State of Washington Tourism (SWT) will host a webinar on August 18 at 10 a.m. to introduce two new grant programs involving destination development. The webinar will provide an overview of the tourism sustainability and technical assistance grants. It will highlight key dates\, funding availability\, eligible applicants and projects as well as expected outcomes and reporting. SWT representatives\, Mike Moe and Matthew Ozuna\, will moderate the webinar and allow plenty of time for Q&A.\n\n\n\nWashington-based tourism stakeholders may apply for both grants between August 15   September 15\, 2022. Applicants may request up to $30\,000 for the tourism sustainability grant and up to $10\,000 for the technical assistance grant. They are are strongly encouraged to match a portion of their grant request with cash or in-kind contributions. A review committee of industry experts will evaluate the leading grant applications and SWT will announce award decisions by September 30 via email. Grant funds pertaining to both programs must be expended by August 1\, 2023
