Geek culture celebrates fandoms from comics\, games\, tech and television with costuming and conventions. Stuller will explore how geek culture is using community-building\, crowd-sourcing\, performance and media criticism to remain progressive. Stuller is a writer\, scholar and cofounder of GeekGirlCon?-an organization dedicated to the recognition\, encouragement and support of women in geek and pop culture and STEM. This program is co-sponsored by Humanities Washington and the Friends of the Aberdeen Timberland Library.
