Join us in welcoming the talented Joel Martin from Toledo!! Back by popular demand, he will serenade you and your friends while enjoying a savory dish off the FRY-day menu or a sweet treat out of the pastry case!! Joel Martin from Toledo is a local singer/songwriter characterized by his playful, lyrical - sometimes melancholy - storytelling and folk/rock/Americana instrumentation. He has been playing local shows and plying his wares in the PNW for nearly a full decade, having released two albums (which are available on all platforms) in that time. And Joel is currently in the process of releasing his third. Others have told him, although he would not presume to make the comparisons himself, that he reminds them of the following artists: Death Cab for Cutie (Ben Gibbard), Bright Eyes (Conor Oberst), Neutral Milk Hotel (Jeff Mangum), and Sufjan Stevens.
