Ocean Protein is a fishmeal production company located in Hoquiam, Washington. It is a sister company of Ocean Gold Seafoods, one of the regions leading fish processors, and a vanguard for technological and sustainable innovations.

Committed to job growth and ?best in class? service in the industry, Ocean Protein produces more than 10 million pounds of fishmeal, nearly 2 million pounds of fish oil, and approximately 200,000 pounds of bone meal annually. During peak season, the fishmeal plant employs approximately 60 local workers. Ocean Protein?s products are shipped to domestic and foreign producers of aquaculture feeds and domestic pet food manufacturers. Some of the major uses for fishmeal industry-wide include: aquaculture, livestock feed, pet food and fertilizers.

The only fishmeal processing plant in the state of Washington, Ocean Protein is committed to bringing the opportunities available in this growing market to our local and state economy.
