*Please note: Tour stops on Showcase Grays Harbor REQUIRE participants to wear closed toed shoes and long pants covering their ankles. Absolutely no open toed shoes. PPE equipment will be provided at certain tour stops. If a participant is not dressed appropriately, they will be unable to join the tour. Please plan accordingly. 

Showcase Grays Harbor returns on Friday, September 18th, 2026, for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of industry and innovation in East Grays Harbor County!

Hosted by Greater Grays Harbor, Inc. (GGHI), this signature annual event offers a rare opportunity to explore some of the region's most impactful businesses and organizations, many of which are not typically open to the public. Whether you're a business professional, community leader, educator, or simply interested in learning more about our local economy, Showcase Grays Harbor provides a firsthand look at the industries driving our region forward.

The day begins at the Grays Harbor County Fairgrounds, where our 2026 Welcome Sponsor, Grays Harbor County, will greet participants and provide all necessary event materials and goodie bags before guests board Grays Harbor Transit buses to begin the tour.

Morning tour stops include Girard Wood Products, Elma's leading manufacturer of quality wood pallets and custom wood packaging solutions, along with Simpson Door Company, McCleary's local door manufacturing facility that has been a staple in the community since 1912. 

Following the morning tours, participants will gather at the Satsop Business Park for a catered lunch and a special presentation highlighting the exciting growth and development taking place at the business park, owned and operated by the Port of Grays Harbor. Learn how the Port is transforming Satsop into one of Washington's premier industrial and business campuses.

In the afternoon, participants will once again split into two groups to visit two remarkable East County manufacturers. Tour Lynch Creek Farm, a nationally recognized production facility creating handcrafted holiday and seasonal décor that ships throughout the country, and Ascensus Specialties in Elma, a world-class manufacturing facility specializing in the production of high-quality specialty chemicals used in a variety of industries.

These exclusive tours provide a unique opportunity to see advanced manufacturing, innovation, and local industry in action while learning directly from the businesses shaping Grays Harbor's economic future. Many of these facilities are not otherwise open for public tours, making Showcase Grays Harbor a one-of-a-kind experience!
