Based in ancient Rome, this Tony Award-winning Stephen Sondheim musical revolves around Pseudolus, a slave scheming for freedom by playing matchmaker for her master's son. When the plan goes awry, Pseudolus desperately attempts to keep up with her end of the bargain.
In this nonstop laugh fest, Pseudolus, a crafty slave, struggles to win the hand of a beautiful, but slow-witted, courtesan named Philia for his young master, Hero, in exchange for freedom.
