Bundle Up and Write Retreat! Aspiring writers and published authors, grab your pens and notebooks and bundle up for a fun, affordable and informative weekend retreat in Tokeland, Washington! The South Beach Writers present their first annual writer's retreat, Bundle Up and Write! at the historic Tokeland Hotel on the weekend of January 24th and 25th. The SBW group is proud to offer three dynamic speakers to help writers get warmed up for a new year of writing and publishing success! Washington State Poet Laureate, Kathleen Flenniken, will present Friday evening?s after-dinner keynote address. Author Solveig Torvik will present her workshop "The many dimensions of publishing" after breakfast on Saturday, and multi-genre author of 27 books, Ryan Williams, will top things off with his workshop "How to finish the novel you started" after lunch on Saturday afternoon. Between workshops and meals on Saturday, make sure you stop by and meet local writers who will have tables set up in the lobby to showcase their latest books. Members of the SBW group will be available to welcome new members with meeting schedules and information about the local area. This affordable SBW retreat is open to all aspiring writers and published authors.
