Events › Printing Press Printing Press Saturday, December 2, 2023 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM Westport Description Come make holiday cards the old fashioned way: with a ~hundred year old Willits Canoe Company printing press! No electricity required. We will also provide supplies and instruction for library patrons to make their own rubber stamps. Westport Aquarium has received this historic printing press on loan from the Foss Waterway Seaport Museum in Tacoma, Washington in honor of America's 250 year anniversary coming up in 2026. Our visit to the Westport Library will be one of the first visits of our tour, as we take the printing press to libraries, museums and schools all over Grays Harbor County and Washington State to teach about the importance of the printing press in America's history.
