Description
Date changed to Tuesday, July 28th at 3 pm.
Join Greater Grays Harbor, Inc. as we celebrate the ribbon cutting for McCleary Hotel’s exciting new additions on Tuesday, July 28th at 3pm! Please stay after the ribbon cutting to enjoy a sampling of Rosie’s offerings. (Note: professional photographers will be documenting this event and anyone attending may be photographed.)
This celebration will highlight the opening of McCleary Hotel’s expanded outdoor event spaces, including the 750-square-foot South Fir Terrace deck, the South Lawn Ceremony Gazebo, and the new Firepit area. These additions create beautiful new spaces for guests to gather and celebrate life’s milestones, including micro weddings, family reunions, and special events, while also providing opportunities for retreats focused on writing, artisan work, yoga, wellness, and connection.
Guests are also invited to celebrate the completion of Rosie’s, the hotel’s new kitchen named in honor of co-owner Lorena Maurer’s grandmother. During World War II, Rosie worked as an electrician and riveter at the Kaiser Shipyard in Vancouver, helping support the nation’s wartime efforts. Her legacy of hard work, resilience, and community spirit is honored through this new gathering place at McCleary Hotel. The cuisine style of Rosie’s will support the restorative and wellness design of the hotel by offer a Blue Zone’s inspired plant forward menu. Rosie’s will be open to serve breakfast to guests of the hotel, for special events and for Saturday High Tea (starting in August).
Come celebrate this exciting new chapter for McCleary Hotel and help us welcome Rosie’s and these new event spaces to the Grays Harbor community!
