Be sure to bring your children (or inner child) to see "Huckleberry
Creek," at Six Rivers Gallery before it ends Sunday, September 23.
This art installation solo show was created by Harbor Art Guild artist
Sherryl Jackson and is based on her illustrated book of the same name,
Sherryl brings the world of the Huckleberries to the Six Rivers
Gallery in Hoquiam and transforms it into an environmental,
3-dimensional wonderous land of lavender characters and one green girl
named Emerald. It is a story of tolerance within a tribe of beings
where everyone must learn to accept the differences within them all
and live harmonious, productive lives.
