The last Yappy Hour of 2010 is scheduled on the patio at the Westport Winery on Sunday, August 29, from 1p.m. to 3p.m.

September Morn, owner of Dogs Love School in Shelton will be here to answer your questions about canine training and behavior. Ms. Morn has trained dogs professionally for more than 30 years and has written several books, including "Training Your Labrador Retriever" and "Housetraining". Her professional advice can help you make the most of owning a puppy or dog.

This is a free, fun opportunity for both you and your pet to get acquainted with others and to develop positive socialization skills. Water bowls are provided and wine is available for purchase for people over age 21.

The Roberts’ dogs Lulu and Dax will host this event. The Westport Winery is a pet-friendly property however all pets must be on leash for both their safety and that of other guests. Pets are welcome on the patio and in the sculpture garden but not allowed inside the tasting room.
