Lake Quinault Lodge will be hosting a family style dining experience with the Maryhill Winery. Friday will be a cocktailing hour along with a personal dinner with the winemaker. Maryhill Vineyards focus is on premium red varietals, with special emphasis on Syrah and Sangiovese. Their estate vineyards in the Columbia Valley Appellation and the Columbia Valley gorge also include blocks of Zinfandel, Viognier, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec & Grenache. Their enthusiasm, which fostered such unprecedented growth to the 18th largest winery in the state, has overflowed to other aspects of their unique business model as well. With annual visitation at over 75,000 a year Maryhill Winery is among the top 5 most visited tasting rooms in Washington today. Their wines have also received a multitude of awards including best of show honors at the Washington State Wine Competition in 2007.
