In case you missed the Elma meeting, you can learn about a proposed coal export project in Hoquiam on Wednesday, July 18, 7:00 PM. This project would dramatically affect all of Grays Harbor County.
Betting on a coal export terminal puts us all at risk. Our natural resource industries, tourist economy, property values, access for emergency vehicles, and health of our communities will be negatively impacted by coal trains and dust from the trains and the terminal.
Join fellow Grays Harbor residents to learn more about this proposed coal terminal and how its 1-1/2 mile long trains could impact you. Let’s explore how we can do better.
What: Meeting for the Public on Proposed Coal Terminal
When: Wednesday, July 18, 7 pm – 9pm
Where: Hoquiam High School Theater, 501 W. Emerson, Hoquiam
Assemble in the Commons area for informational displays.
