Description
Join the Coastal Interpretive Center on Monday, March 27 from 1:30-3:00 PM to celebrate the erection of a new Motus Tower. Motus stands for the Motus Wildlife Tracking System. The Motus Tower tracks migratory shore birds along the Pacific Flyway through use of radio telemetry. Joe Buchanan, wildlife biologist with the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, will be on hand to talk about the importance of studying migration routes.
