Plant A Row for the Harbor Kickoff Event

Event will feature activities for the whole family, refreshments, educational demonstrations, Timberland Library lead story time, local vendors, free Master Gardener gardening demos, and giveaways to get your garden growing. Plant a Row is a national program created by the Garden Writers Association that encourages garden communities and individuals to grow and donate fresh vegetables, fruit, and herbs to people in need. It?s an easy way we can healthfully address hunger on the Harbor. Anyone can participate and there are two simple steps to get involved: 1) Visit www.cultivatingroots.org/plant-a-row for a list of participating Food Banks around Grays Harbor County. 2) Plant, Harvest, Donate!
