Southwest Washington’s own Elizabeth Stierle will present her tribute to American country and pop music singer Patsy Cline. Approaching the 50th anniversary of Cline’s death on March 5, Stierle sings some of the well-loved songs Cline recorded, illustrating the singer’s development as one of the first crossover artists from country to pop. She’ll be accompanied by her husband Paul, a team known to regional fans as “Buck and Elizabeth.” The Friends of the Aberdeen Timberland Library sponsor this program and will provide refreshments. Services will be limited after the library closes at 7 p.m.
