Description
The Aberdeen Museum will begin documantating life in rural Grays Harbor Communities, beginning with the Wishkah Valley. The Wishkah Valley was home to may early logging operations, building spalsh dams on the upper forks of the Wishkah River, rushing their logs down stream; driving Aberdeen's Economy. The valley was also home to Aberdeen' water supply, as we as an agricultural region. This invitation is extended to all families, pioneer and present. Fo you recall community events such as weddings, lasting several days? Locations of homesteads, families that moved away, school teachers. COme and share your stories, memories ; family and school photos of days gone by.
