Grays Harbor College is now home to a new radiosonde launch site operated by the Center for Western Weather and Water Extremes (CW3E) at the University of California San Diego’s Scripps Institution of Oceanography. The Community Partners Education Grant Committee announces that it awarded $29,000 in grants to 50 teachers from ten public school districts in Grays Harbor and Mason Counties.  The committee hosted a bag stuffing party to build “Teacher Survival Kits” for all the school districts to help promote the CPEG program.
