Grays Harbor College Awarded $2.8 Million to Help Low-Income, Potential First-Generation College Students Access Higher Education
TRIO Upward Bound will provide students at Raymond, Ocosta, and Hoquiam High Schools with academic enrichment courses, personal mentoring and coaching, and assistance with college, financial aid, and scholarship applications. The U.S. Department of Education announced that Grays Harbor College has received twocompetitive, federal grantsto establish Upward Bound programs at Raymond, Ocosta, and Hoquiam high schools beginning this September. Grays Harbor College Increases In-Person Classes and Activities for Fall 2022
Following a decision made to hold this year’s graduation inperson at Olympic Stadium on June 22nd at 7:00 pm, Grays Harbor College President Dr. Ed Brewster announced that there will be a full array of in-person classes and activities at GHC in the fall. In a letter to employees Dr. Brewster said, “We look forward to having more students and employees back on campus in the fall, so that we can enjoy a vibrant campus life with more in-person instruction, activities and interactions.” Mask
