Festival of Lights Cocoa and Parade

Description

We will be opening the downstairs of the Monte Church of God for girls to get ready and stay warm. This years theme is "LIGHTS" so if they want to dress up, just be as festive and "lighted" as you want. We are just providing hot cocoa this year. Please bring a sack dinner and if you'd like to bring some cookies to share with the cocoa that would be lovely! THE PARADE WALKS AT 6 p.m. We do have a truck and trailer this year, but it does have limited seating so some girls still walk. If your scout is wanting to be in the parade, please make sure and sign up so we have an accurate head count and the leaders know who they are in charge of.
Our Brownie Leader Claire is in charge of the cocoa and opening the church and our Daisy leader Deja is in charge of the float. The girls will walk the parade and then meet up across the street from the library at the white canopy and watch the rest of the parade. They then walk back to the church and clean up. :)
