Full Flower Moon Paddle

Description

Let's celebrate the Full Flower Moon with a sunset paddle on the fresh waterways. The 2019 Paddle series will get us through the entire 23 miles of Ocean Shores Fresh Waterways. Meet at the public boat launch at the south end of Lake Minard/Oyhut Canal at 6:30pm so we can hit the water at 7:00pm (sunset is 8:49pm).

We will paddle, as a group, north on the Oyhut Canal and Lake Minard and continue to explore the two southern canals of the Bell Canal system, and return to the public boat launch. Round trip will be 4.72 miles.

The event is FREE if you have your own equipment, however, if you would like to rent equipment from the Boat House regular rental rates apply. Advance reservations are required to guarantee availability at launch site.

Food, drink is not provided - please BYOF and BYOD. Alcohol is prohibited from any part of the event.

Safety: Canoes, kayaks, and similar vessels are required to have at least a Type III PFD worn by the occupant(s). Sounding device (i.e. whistle) is highly encouraged.
