Description
The 4th Annual Grays Harbor County Health Symposium is set to take place Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM at the tulalW Student Center – Grays Harbor College in Aberdeen, WA. This year’s symposium brings together leaders from across the region to advance health, safety, and quality of life for all who call Grays Harbor County home. We are honored to welcome Dennis Worsham, Washington State Secretary of Health, as our Keynote Speaker.

This year’s symposium will feature a Rural Community Dialogue Workshop, an interactive session focused on rural traffic safety, safer speed management, and the unique roadway challenges across our region. Participants will hear diverse perspectives that are not always included in traffic safety conversations. Together, we will explore how speeding, impairment, and rural road conditions affect daily life and identify practical, locally relevant opportunities to improve safety.
In addition to the workshop, the event will include panel discussions and guest speakers covering:
- Youth Health, including behavioral health supports, mentorship pathways, and substance use prevention
- The Recompete Grant Project and its role in strengthening community health outcomes
We will also provide brief updates on key initiatives shaping future planning in Grays Harbor County, including the Housing Needs Assessment, Affordable Housing Site Feasibility Study, Opioid Gaps Analysis, Developmental Disability programs, and Food Security Assessment.
