LIGHTNING MODULE: FAST SQUAD
The Lightning Module is our short program, based off of the principles of wildland fire's fastest response teams. With 10-14 hours, participants will experience HIIT style team activities developed to push progression and growth while promoting collective problem solving.
Mission: to provide an experience that accurately depicts not only the physical demands of being a wildland firefighter, but also provides the sense of family and community closeness that is the life blood of being a Hotshot. All FirefighterFit Endurance events are developed and staffed by wildland firefighters witha minimum five years experience in the field and/or minimum 3 years on a Hotshot crew. In short, we don't pretend to be something we're not.
This is an endurance event. You will be pushed. You will be uncomfortable. You will experience adverse conditions that will make you want to quit. You will live on the threshold of constant discomfort. And in the end, you will love it, because it will be worth it.
