Teachers in Grays Harbor and Mason County Awarded $29k in CPEG Grants

The Community Partners Education Grant Committee announces that it awarded $29,000 in grants to 50 teachers from ten public school districts in Grays Harbor and Mason Counties.

These kits include goodies for the teachers such as pens, pencils, notebooks, hand sanitizers, energy shots, and swag items from the business sponsors. Each kit has a flyer with a QR code that directs the teachers to the application, helping ensure an easy applying process.

Some of the project topics approved included the purchase of physical education equipment, library books, updated Dictionaries for ELA classesenvironmental restoration/aquaculture, a guided field trip to Billy Frank Jr Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge, special education, STEM, Arts and Theatre, band programs, The Great Flower Fight, poetry café, construction/woodshop, forensic science, and so much more!
